Unfortunately, it does. But it's much less than regular tea and whole lots less than coffee. Regular tea has about (depending upon the tea) about 1/2 to 1/3 the caffeine of coffee and decaf tea has even less. Green teas are very healthful and i think that might outweigh the caffeine, especially a little amount. Or you could drink "tea" infusions - which really have no tea at all, but are usually fruit flavored. (Look for labels which say "Naturally Caffeine Free".) Good for drinking tea!

Come on darlin, let's not get too touchie re the decaf, if you drink decaf, it's supposed to be better, but it is the decaf industry that get these statistics, hey mum, worrying too much about what you eat will probably upset you more than the decaf , minimal that's in Decaf, nothing ever is absolute as us engineers always find out, it dosn't sound stupid you obviously care a lot, that's good, just lay off the drugs and boose, also the smokes aren't that good, but love life and enjoy the journey, a happy mum is a healthy mum.

You know if you're pregnant, you don't have to completely rule out caffiene. Unless your doctor suggested it. My friend was just pregnant said her doctor told her she could have the equivalant of two cups of coffee If it says decaf on the label I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. It shouldn't have any caffiene in it at all, and on the light case that it does, it wouldn't have hardly any at all, especially not enough to harm anyone.

Decaf is recommended for pregnant women but too much tea(even decaf) isn't good either, drink milk, juice and water too. Check with your Dr. on flavored herbal teas, they are naturally decaffeinated. Best wishes.

Decaf still contains caffeine but the amount is so little that it has no more effect on the body so it is safe to drink wen pregnant.

If the tea says it's decaffeinated, then it has no caffeine. Many people have allergies and negative reactions to caffeine (I for one). I've been caffeine-free since 1998. If a restaurant does not have decaf tea, I won't order regular tea. I no longer drink soda like Pepsi or Coke because that has caffeine also. Chocolate also contains caffeine.

It does have a bit of caffiene. Try herbal tea. Most have no caffiene, this is because many have no tea leaves. I love them. Green tea has very little caffiene also as far as i know

A tiny amount, not enough to be of any consequence.
