I've bought my girlfriend a bonsai tree. It cost quite a bit, but I was worried that it might appear, well, not very useful. It's beautiful and comes with quality pruners, orante base and a guide book. Would you appreciate this present?

Dlly-kdy - would your partner 'playing it safe' with gifts really make you happy? I've bought her all sorts of prefume and jewellery over the years.

If a person likes art, they will love bonsai. I'm offering help in keeping it alive. If you need help, let me know the species of the tree, and I'll give you specific care instructions. Often the instructions that come with the bonsai are incomplete, especially when it has to do with keeping a tree inside or outside. wchoat@american-bonsai.com

Hello,
Some girls are only happy with exspenive gifts.
Some girls are only happy if they are with you when buying things.
Some girls are only happy if THEY'VE brought it.
Some girls will be happy if they like that sort of thing.
Some girls will love it either way, as its come from you.
Some girls love everything got for them no matter what it is.
So i will say to you hun that, you must know what sort of things interest her. Im sure you've made the right decision. Ive just asked my girlfriend and she says she's never had one and has always wanted one as they are different. I think they are unusal and yes id like it too.

Definitely, but put a poem with it talking about how the tree's age and growth symbolize your dreams for your relationship. Tell her you want to care for the tree together.

I think that is a lovely gift. When I think of a bonsai tree, I think of peaceful and serene. Who doesn't want a little piece of that? :)

If she's a plant lover then maybe, but why couldn't u settle for something on the safe side like perfume or a handbag something useful.
