I want to download a free trial of Flight Simulator X from the Mocrsoft website, and I have heard that downloading .exe files from P2P filesharing applications is Bad, so I am wondering if it is safe from a company like Microsoft.

i will only trust sites like, microsoft, firefox, apple, university or wolverhampton, then again i have a router with a firewall and i have also running mcafee security centre and windows defender!

maybe thats overkill, but my dissertation can get ruined......

only from companies you trust, and yes you can trust microsoft and other big companies, but don't you dare doing that from untrusted places or in e-mails .
