Maybe Krypton has some minor diety that got upset about it??

Oh, is Brandon Routh the latest Superman? I did not see it. Damn, are you as old as me to remember George Reeves? George was probably smited anyway cuz he supposedly committed suicide.

Superman is not really a jesus figure. I do not no why the reeves were unlucky but I don't think this is a biblical offense.

yes. God has a list of people that he smites because he doesn't like that they wear tights. I hear he's going to expand the list to include all forms of Lycra, as well.

None of them ever CLAIMED to be Jesus; they just played Jesus in some show or movie or something. No smiting here.
