Oooh I could never put red sauce on bacon. It's got to be brown every time. If you need tomato use the real thing. Trouble with red sauce is that it doesn't taste like tomatoes just a mixture of spices.

I have the best of both worlds. I spread one slice of bread with brown sauce then dip the whole sandwich in red sauce! Sorted!

For me, Buttered bread, bacon and Heinz Tomato sauce. Absolute heaven.
My husband has other ideas, he prefers 'Daddies' brown sauce (YUCH!) and no butter on his bread! Shock, horror!

Why ruin a bacon sandwich by smothering it with sauce?

The sweetness of red plays of the saltiness of the bacon perfectly. I used to be a brown man, but once you try red... you won't go back.
