when u see her, u should get a little conscience of how u look, the way ur standing, little things like that. and when u see her, it should make u feel good, butterflies in ur stomach, u find urself looking at her sparingly when she's not looking, u kinda wanna impress her. also, when u go home and put her head to the pillow, is she the last thing u think of before u go to sleep?

Well I have had that happen. Hang out with her and get to know her again (if at all possible) then you will know if that person is still the person you care about. Then kiss the person (if it is welcomed) and you will know.
Years ago I dated a boy in HS who I thought I loved dearly. It took me YEARS to get over him. (he was my comparisin for every guy I ever dated) He and I would go back and forth talking and always had a weird connection. When ever something bad would happen I would magicly hear from him even after months and months of not speaking at all. Then something devistating happened to me right around my b-day 2 years ago. He was the only person there for me and I thought I wanted it. He realized that I was what he wanted all these years. Then afte a week of him consoling me and being there for me we kissed... it was right then that I knew he wasn't the same person, or maybe I wasn't and we were walking 2 very diferent, distant paths. I loved the memory of us back then. When we were together in HS and he kissed me, he literally took my breath away and I felt dizzy... then the kiss over 2 years ago did nothing. I realized we were just not ment to be in that way. I will admit I still care for him as a friend and want him to stay in my life. We had been through so much and still have some weird connection but I am not in love with him. Unfortunately through this he fell for me again and I ended up hurtinghim bad.
So remember the consequesnces of searching this out. You could lose a good friend.

if you like someone you love to think about that person all the time. Secondly you tend to be possessive about that person. Also you have sexual thoughts about that individual. In some cases people get turn on even looking at that person's photograph. You are right about liking a memory of a person. Our mind craves for things that are not near us any more. And there is a great difference between loving and loving the idea of loving someone.

Usually when you around the person you get buterfiles in your stmoach and you feel an attraction for the person.
If there is no attracton then you don't like the person.
Maybe you should ask the person to go out as friends so you can see if you truly like the person or not.

First things first, you know you like her when you are questioning it. You want to talk to her all the time, spend time with her and just feel her presence around you. Not necessarily holding her, just being around her makes you feel good. When you see her, your eyes light up and all you see is her. If you fall into these categories, then I think it's safe to say you really like this person.
