Especially to a mother? There's a particular woman who doesn't really do a good job of parenting her daughter, and just gives her whatever her daughter wants in lieu of discipline and proper parenting.

It's sickening at best to even hear about the spoilage.

Action speaks louder than words, when and if her child has to accompany her on her outings with you. Make up an excuse why you can't go at that particular time. If she has a baby sitter then you can't go. But unless she ask for your advise, do not give it. It is her child; her problem.

It's none of your business. You have no way of knowing the background, and parenting styles are different.

Just make sure that YOUR child, if you have one that is a friend of the spoiled, knows that you don't agree, and why. You might say "what did Susie Beth do to EARN that $500 coat?" or "Susie Beth is never satisfied because she doesn't have to work for what she gets" so that you get your point across without criticizing the kid, only the mom.

You dont tell her anything because it's none of your business. Parent your own kids. However, if she should ask, then be straight. Just be prepared for the fallout of your candor.
