A hair dryer used on a low setting for about 1-2 minutes.
put baby oil in your ear that hurts and keep that side up for about 10 minutes.
Repeat the baby oil twice a day for a few days, it will loosen any wax.
Do not use Q-tips to clean out the ear.
If you have a temp see a doctor it's probably infected.

You might have a sinus infection or a toothache. Take Extra strength Advil or Aleve. These products work pretty well. I wouldn't advise putting anything in your ear unless you talk to a pharmacist at Walgreens or Cvs or any pharmacy.

Olive oil will work...but there is something from a drug store called sweet clove oil that I think works better....I think the idea is to coat the nerve endings....also, setting a blow dryer on low heat and letting it blow into the ear canal helps as well....good luck and God bless....oh yea, warm the oil first!!
P.S. if the problem persist, you will need to go to the doctor for an antibiotic....

If this is your first ear ache, perhaps you should see a physician and find out what the problem is.

When I had earaches as a child my dad used to blow cigarette smoke in my ear. I know! How gross! But the theory behind it worked. It made it feel a bit better. It was the warmth. I very mild heating pad or one of those things that you heat in the microwave can help it feel better. But not too hot. Be very careful.

I like to take a couple of Advil and then lay my head on a heating pad. You can also blow a hairdryer into your ear on the warm setting.

Ear drops.
they have drops that you put in there, then you just lay down with that ear up, and it goes away pretty quick.
my mother always used them for us, and they do work pretty good
