I asked this question a few days ago to get ideas for my holiday party at work. A poster suggested the Kraft Foods website. It is kraft.com and there are tons of quick, cheap and easy recipes to make. I made a spinach dip and it was a hit at the party...it only cost me $6.00 to make the whole thing. I hollowed out a round sourdough bread loaf and used the bread pieces for serving the dip. It went over really well. So check out the Kraft website...maybe you'll find something. Good Luck.

A jar of salsa and 8 oz of cream cheese beaten together make an awesome dip. Also my family likes ham rollups; spread ham lunchmeat with cream cheese, slice dill pickles into thin lenghth-wise strips, then roll the ham around the pickles. If you want to be fancy you can put toothpicks in to hold the ham and cut them into slices, but my family eats them too fast to bother! And there's nothing wrong with good old cheese and crackers.

Put a package of cream cheese in a food processor, and mix in curry powder--use lots of curry even though the colour gets pretty vile. Mound it up on a plate and keep cool. Just before serving, slather the mound with Major Grey chutney and sprinkle slivered almonds on it. That's it. It can look pretty weird, but everyone loves it, even as fancy places. You can get more creative by experimenting with different chutneys and different curry powders, both of which you can make from scratch, but then this is no longer an easy appetiser.

Something that surprised me as being tasty, popular and cheap is cubes of cheddar cheese with a pineapple tidbit on top, held together by a toothpick. Fill a plate with these and they'll disappear fast!

Everyone LOVES ham roll ups. We made ham and turkey roll ups for my work party today. Some had green onions and some had dill pickles in them. 1 pound ham, 1 pound turkey 2 large tubs of whipped cream cheese (store brand works just fine), small jar of pickles and 2-3 bunches of green onions=approximately $12.00 and makes a lot of appetizers.

try pigs in a blanket! just cut up pillsbury croissant triangles into smaller triangles, wrap them around li'l smokies sausages, and bake for about 15 min (or as long as pillsbury package says). they are a HUGE hit, completely addicting, and great with ranch dressing. costs about 10 dollars to make 75, and if you spend a little time wrapping them, they look super fancy! good luck!

Fried pickles with ranch dip or cheese sticks with marinara sauce. Or if you want something really easy just get different chips and dips. Tortilla chips and queso, Ruffles and Ranch dip, crackers and cheeses...

Pesto sauce
Take Cheese, place on cracker.
Put cracker with cheese in oven for a few minutes, melting the cheese down ever so slightly.
