My daughter is three and loves her V-Tech V-Smile video game system. She feels like a big girl playing her video games and they are educational.

think about a favorite show she likes to watch and buy her a toy that is educational. i buy my daughter lots of dora and blues clues stuff because shes loves the shows and buying books, interactive games, and things like that are very helpful in brain development, but u do need to sit down and play with her with the toys, she will get the most out of it then.

I bought my 3 year old girls (twins)
A newborn Cabbage Patch doll , they are adorable!
My Little Pony Books.
A Barbie Computer, its educational, ABC's, 123's, music, thought I could do it with them, might be fun
Colors and Color Books
They LOVE Play Dough
Loving Family House and People, they have fun with those.

My daughter just turned 3 and for her birthday, we got her the Dora Magical Castle! She loves it!
Other ideas:
Toddler bicycle
Easel (we found one at ToysRUs with whiteboard on one side, chalkboard on the other with magnetic letters also!)
puzzles
A play kitchen

My 3 yr old daughter loves baby dolls, puzzles, books, educational stuff.. I also bought her a table and chairs. Chalk boards. coloring..
