yes, but usually only when they first start, or after a summer/winter break.
they are introduced to numerous germs and/or bacteria in a short period of time, therfore, they tend to get sick more often. its only after this introduction that their immune systems become stronger, and they tend to get sick less than those that dont work in schools.

No. I think it's a tie between a school worker and a person that works in the emergency room. Both have a lot of exposure. Great hand washing is the single most important thing a person can do to prevent disease. Good health for the coming new year.

My mom works in a school. she said that she picks up the germs and is immune to most illness. We laugh be she is the one who is rarely sick. sinus infections are the one thing she gets

I think it depends on which way the germs fly, how much a person washes their hands, their diet, sleeping habits and exercise habits. This is my 5th year teaching and I only get one cold once a year in September when the kids come back.

at first, definately. but like people who work in the wating rooms of doctor's offices, they build up an immunity to most illnesses

well children mixing with other children strenghthens there immune system... so as u grow up ur immune system is better at killing viruses and stuff when they enter ur body... so in the long run its gud to mx... because its building up ur immune system to fight back those illnesses!
