I got divorce in 1992 and my children were 10 & 3. I promise that I would bring them up myself and want get invovled until they are out of school. They are now 24 &17, soon will be 18. The 17 year old is in the 11th grade (she fail one year). I have now met a great guy and it have been 14 years and an opportuny like this may not come along again. Should I paid my vow or what?............HELP...........Thanks in Advance

In a perfect world you wouldn't have had to go through this. If you went by age your kids would be almost out of school so the understanding is there. I think you should be fine. You deserve to be happy too. It will be difficult for your kids I imagine but you can ease through it. They know you deserve it trust me!

yes go for it, your kids are old enough. They will understand, if not at first, then eventaully. You have a life of your own and must see it to it that you are happy to.
