Revlon makes a great ceramic straightener. It's about $30 or $40 dollars. Make sure to put some sort of heat protecting spray on your hair before you use it. Thats with any straightener!

If you're willing to spend a bit of dough, Chi ceramic hair straighteners are awesome. They're really high quality and last a long time, so they're definitely worth the extra cost!

helen of troy best straightners in the world!!!
i've been using the ceramic one with the thick plate. I've had it for about 4 yrs and it still works great! I made all my friends buy it too. I just love this one. I would never buy any other brand. And I'm exteremly pickly abt how the straighter works. Some straightners dont do what their suppose to. It leaves your hair coarsy. but this one is great! Just remember "Helen of TROY Ceramic!!"

Depends on how much money you are willing to spend.
If you have alot of cash to spend, i would definetly go for a CHI. They are the best straightners i know. I have really long, thick hair and it straightened all my hair in about 5 minutes. its awesome. If you don't have alot of cash to spend, i suggest trying out the straightners by Revlon, they work well too.

I have naturally really curly hair and I bought a flat iron at walmart that I LOVE! I think it cost like $18.95 (which is really cheap) and I like it better then the one I spent $180 on. I believe it is a revlon and it has a ceramic plate!

Conair has great products...I just bought a hairdryer from them, and they're not too expensive. When you buy, make sure it has ceramic heating plates rather than metal, they won't damage your hair. If you have thick hair, you might also want to get one with the brush bristles.
