Usually I just tell them quietly that they have something in their nose, and I give them a tissue.

It depends. Have you ever been out shopping yourself and you get home and you look in the mirror and you got a big yellow hanger? Part of you thinks it is only recently descended so probably no one saw it. And you convince yourself of that. So I think in many cases leaving a person in ignorance is the best response. Sometimes I try tto give a hint by sniffing a lot. If it's a FRIEND, though, and not a stranger, you're a shitty friend if you don't tell!

yes and know, usually I'll just point to the nose or nostril affected and indicate that they need to wipe their nose. Or hand them a tissue and whisper that there's something in their nose or that they need to blow.
I would hope that someone would do the same for me instead of letting me walk around all day with a something hanging out my nose!

Yes, hand the person a tissue and say you have something on your nose. And then look away for a moment(peek in your purse, check your cell phone, glance at anything).

Its the holidays and people should be more courteous. Pick the booger for him and let him/her know if its the salty variety.

Nope especially if its a strangers..its there problem not urs and they would probaly be real embarrassed. But if its a friend then u should tell them.

Absolutely, but without being rude about it. Hand that person a tissue without letting anyone else see. They will get the picture.
