My friends tell me my stardards are way to high for the guys I date. I consider myself an honest person, I have never cheated on anyone I have dated. So if a guy lies to me or cheats on me its over without a second thought. if there is no trust then Ifigure there shouldn't be a relationship. I don't date guys that do or deal drugs. I don't date guys that smoke or chew tobacco. I decided at a young age that I value my freedom and health to much to deal with it. I only date guys that stay in good shape, because I figure I have had 2 kids and if I can stay in shape then my boyfriend can. I absolutely can not stand DRAMA. My friends have said there is always drama when it comes to dating but I most definately do not agree. every relationship has problems and problems can be worked through. Drama is a series of problems, with a combination of distrust and some sort of emotional instability on one or both persons part. I'm not that big but I do not put up with guys hitting me.

They're not high!! They're perfect! Maybe a little low. I totally agree with you. My standards are just as high too. And I am sure that is big reason why I have not dated, ever! But, when I find the right guy that fits my standard, then you better believe I will jump at the chance! You should too!

No, your standards are not all THAT high. I'm sure there would be someone out there. It just depends on how long you are willing to wait, as the "right" guy doesn't always come around all that frequently. I'm sure there are guys who would like your straight forwardness about things, and lack of bs.

Although if you find a guy with only a few minor faults, I wouldn't pass up on him without a second look. Sometimes, that second look is well worth it. If I hadn't given my bf a second look, we wouldn't be together now, and it's been 3 years.

Go go girl!!!!!!!!!
You should be so proud of yourself for holding high standards for yourself and those whom you choose to get close to. The higher respect you have for yourself then the higher respect others will ultimately have for you. You will find that you will attract the same quality of people in your life, just don't let it all go to your head and stay humble and you can do or achieve anything you put your heart to. Never apologize for having high standards....let those suckers step up to the bat and if they can't, or won't, then they are not worth your time....Its better to hold out than to settle for something you will regret down the line....

no, your standards are not too high. A person whose standards are high will have a whole LIST of stuff, like he gotta be lightskinned, braids, earrings, etc. you know things like that. But you are looking at personality and thats wat counts. Guys admire a girl like you and youd be suprised at how many guys will try to FIT a girls standards just so that they can feel good about themselves. I feel the same way and theres obviously nothing wrong with having good morals. u feel me?

your standards are very high, but there is nothing wrong with that, I'd rather meet you, than some bimbo who offers benefits on a first date.

i would say that you're standards are normal. most girls should follow you're standards i know some of mine are just like yours. forget what you're friends say they obviously don't value themselves enough to have such good standards like you so don't sweat it.
