Christian shouldn't worship the Bible.. It's just paper and ink.. God's message won't be stopped if someone throw the Bible in a fire. That's how I dispose of them when they ware out. I guess it depends mostly on what's going inside the person doing it. Is it an act of defiance against God? Hate for Him? A slap at those around that believe? Sin doesn't come from the outside but what we are deep inside our hearts and minds. you decide what it was for you.. Jim

A bible? How disgusting of you! You could have gotten a box of Korans for 1/4 of the price at Crazy Ahmed's Jihadi Shop to use in the fireplace. Using the bible for firewood is simply not cost effective.
The bible is NOT the word of god. It is the word of a man who claims he has spoken to god, so there is no proof that god exists. Religion is opium for the simpleminded masses to follow. I choose to use my brain instead of blindly following what others claim I should be doing in life.

Pray to god to forgive you because you accidently threw you bible in the fireplace place. After that all and sundry would be nicely and that i'm one hundred% helpful god will forgive you for somewhat twist of fate. then you definately can get a sparkling one, yet be careful with it.

God doesn't live in the bible. You aren't really burning him or anything. By burning the bible, you are just saying that you didn't have a value for it, to save it.
God created people like you too. You are doing nothing to anybody except yourself. As long as you don't burn other people's bibles or anything you're fine.
whether it was wrong or not--to figure that out is the job of your conscience.

Some people, like myself, do not like the idea of burning ANY book. So in that respect it was wrong.
In my opinion, the Bible is just a book. A few hundred pieces of paper, a few hundred thousand words, bound together. What makes it important is the message that those pieces of paper and words contain - the inerrant Word of God.

Burning any book is wrong. Only in the case of extreme personal peril from cold are you allowed to burn Harlequin romances. Or if you're bored, you can burn them then as well.

No there is nothing wrong or surprising to people like you, and don't be surprised when the author of the Bible throw you into His fireplace one day. But I hope sincerely hope you will repent and be in the other place with me.

Only if you did not read it first, realize that God does exist and that He loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus to save you from having to experience the same fate in hell! But if you did not read it and believe then you'll just have to wait an find out in the day you stand before God!
