In England, all will be open Christmas Eve, although I don't know until when. Most are likely to be closed on Christmas Day, although I have seen the odd one open. You'll get a few open on Boxing Day but don't expect them all to be open.

Most of those on the motorways yhat are 24-hour stations are open on both. A few local stations may open, but usually for shorter hours.

only recently did xmas day become a holiday in Scotland so would expect open petrol stations to be easy to find later in the day
