You will need more information than you can find on here. You need to do a lot of reading on the net. If you are on drugs, you must be careful if and when you decide to get off them. They must be tapered slowly - 5 to 10% cuts at a time and 3 weeks between cuts or more until feeling stable again. Be careful with the seafood - the mercury may make you worse but a good fresh fish oil like Carlsons (which has the mercury and toxins removed) would be excellent. Avoid all the food in the store except vegetables, fruits, meats, beans - especially avoid cereals full of preservatives, artificial colors and flavors, snack foods and soda and artificial sweeteners. Stevia is a safe sweetener and you only use a very small amount of it. Use it only after you have avoided sugar for a couple of weeks and it will taste o.k. to you.

If you've damaged brain cells, don't do that anymore. They don't grow back.
As to ADD, here are some suggestions: a friend with ADD swears by a speed-reading course he took, so you might check into those at the library or a local college. You can also order them online. Also, brain food include blueberries and other berries, other fruits (high in antioxidants, too, so just good all around). Dark fish like salmon, and you might cut out food containing gluten (wheat bread, cookies, anything made with wheat flour). Lots of folks with symptoms of ADD/ADHD who find their symptoms improve with they remove gluten from their diets. You can find more info by doing online searches for "gluten-free" or "celiac" websites. Lots of info there. Good luck--

I believe salmon and anything rich in omegas is good brain food. Smoking marijuana will not heal your brain cells but will help you realize what it is you're doing smoking pot in the first place. Also weed is a good stimulant but not for brain activity. It actually does more harm than good to the brain however we all have cannabanoid receptors in our brains, which are cells specifically for recieving THC which makes me wonder why they're there if not to recieve THC, then why are they in our brains?

Find out what people did before ADD was discovered.
To learn to focus your mind intently do something that serves no purpose but do it like it is the most importnat thing on the planet.
Something Kinaesthetic would probably be good for you. Move stones from one end of your garden yard, to the other. Lots of them make it a challenge use heavy ones. When you have finished do it again time yourself and try and beat yourself.
The art of Wu Wei has been practiced by monks for thousands of years in china to teach them how to focus their minds intently on a singular task. It is a precursor to learning meditation.

Have you been diagnosed with ADD? If so, your doctor should have told you that nothing is wrong with your brain cells. Cognitive behavioral therapy and NLP works well for ADD sufferers. I would not expect too much improvement from blueberries and such.

You can't "heal" brain cells or "get rid of" ADD. If you truly have it and have been diagnosed by a health care or mental health care professional, then treatment options have already been discussed with you. If you are self-diagnosing, please don't and see a professional. You may not have ADD at all.
