Im looking for a radio that only pulls in AM signals, not necessarily international signals, but local signals clearly. I heard one advertised during the Art Bell show once but cant remember the company. Thanks.

FM has been required on all radios by the FCC for quite a while (30 years or so). Anything that old won't be as good as today's receivers.

Tag sales and flea markets. Old radio receivers from the 1950's and before are generally only AM. They should be cheap!
