I don't want to have to put a texturizer in my hair, I have a nice grade of hair just want to do the right things to my hair in order to have nice waves.

brush your hair(make sure bristles arent real hard)
use sport-wave
wear a wave cap

Start with a fresh hair cut and then work with a hard bristled brush to train your waves and then a wave cap at night or when you are in the house in your spare time. You know men still use light pommades to help there waves along such as Murrays.
