Mary left Judea and fled to Egypt. According to historical record she had a child, a daughter and moved north to southern France.
Where she and her daughter landed there is now a shrine. In the shrine is a statue of Mary's daughter, her daughter's name? Sarah...the statue has black skin. The name of the statue....Sarah of Egypt.
The church at one time Connonised Sarah of Egypt to Saint Sarah but their story is that this girl was Mary's servant...there is a glaring inconsistancy here however...the church's version of events does not add up....Mary had no servant in Judea, she was fleeing, also why did the church deify a servant....
The shrine is 1st century AD......an interesting date don't you agree..??
Another inconsistency ....the church has since decannonised Saint Sarah....why....??
Want to see Sarah of Egypt?

I could be wrong... her and Joseph had a son... James.
That may have been before the crucifixion.
She did not witness the Resurection but she saw the angel(s) at Jesus' grave and Jesus also appeared to her after it. She also witnessed him ascend into heaven, as the Gospel of Luke says.
Cool fact: Luke interviewed the people in the Bible, not just talked about them and thier stories.
She then died and with her belief in the Son of God and her son as the savior of mankind, went to heaven.
I don't know (and I doubt) that she was further harassed by Romans or unbelieving pharisees.
But the bible says we will have troubles in this world.

Well I don't know what the Bible says on that but I guess she went on living and taking care of her other children. She knew from the beginning that she had a special heavenly child when she was impregnated by the Holy Spirit. So I'm sure she knew His mission was completed and probably lived till really old age.
But when Jesus returns for his people, Mary will be right there by His side.
