One of the main reasons it sinks is low fat in the diet (fat makes it less denser than water). Which generally is a good sign.

Get a blood test done, to diagnose (also find and treat cause of anemia). A common symptom of anemia is fatigue. See your doctor about it. No point, not dealing with something like that.

Anemia, is linked with diet - in particular lack of iron. Red meat is a good source of iron as well as a common source of fat. Which makes it not sink.

It likely had to do with the density of the poo. as an example it you ate more beneficial vegetables then your poo can be a lot less dense and be more beneficial at danger of floating, a twin of an apple floats. yet in case you devour alot of meat and stuff like that then you actually poo may sink a twin of chicken breasts sink.

Not usually. Its more to do with fat in your diet that hasnt been absorbed. Thats what makes it float.

Anaemia is a low red blood cell count.

Don`t know if it has anything to do with anaemia but when I eat lead , it sinks and if I eat polystyreen it floats and is a bugger to flush.

Sink = good. Float = NOT GOOD --> fats not absorbed in gut prob-ly due to low bile contents or lack of enzyme that digests fat (lipase) or other conditions (pancreatitis etc) --> hence floaty poos (mostly in pale color). Dont think relates to anemia.... (which is more common in ppl with haemorrhoids/cancer/ulcers/etc)

Very good question. Mine float always have since i was little. Have no idea if its a medical problem more likely a problem because they won't flush very easy...why do we all find it fascinating talking about our crap?? If you think your anaemic go to the doctor or take iron tablets with vitamin C tablets (vit C helps iron absorb) :o)

I don't think so, no.
My poo sometimes floats, sometimes sinks and I ain't got anaemia.
It's just to do with your diet.
But *here's this old chestnut* - if you're worried, go see a doctor.

It depends how dense your feces is. If you eat lots of carbs, your excrement will be more dense and more likely to be greater than 1. If it IS greater than one, it will sink. If it is less than one (you eat veggies and fruits) it will float. The amount of Anaemian isotopes in your feces also determine its density. I am a science major. Hope this helps!

It should float. I'm not sure about anemia, but it is linked with toxins in your body (which most people keep pumping into themselves like it's going out of style.) Try a colon cleanse.

Nope. It all has to do with how much you fart. If you hold in your gas, it becomes trapped in the fecal matter, which makes it more buoyant and causes it to float. Not unhealthy in itself, but holding in your gas is. So, just let them rip whenever you feel a fart coming on. You will feel better, and, your poop won't float.
