that's vague.
Being proud of the fact that you are God's humble child isn't.
However, being proud that you are the smartest person in the world and boasting to everyone about how good you are is... considering that to God that's a microscopic accomplishment, and by doing so, you're taking your focus off of God and his plan for you.
Our best deeds are as "filthy rags" to God... and yet he loves us immensely. Pretty amazing.
It doesn't matter if it's a sin. Everyone sins. I sin. All but Jesus sinned on Earth.
So, Jesus is the way to heaven. being humble to hear God's love for you and warnings is a lot better for you than being proud and ignoring it.

It is not a sin to be proud that you belong to the Lord.
It is a sin to be proud of yourself.
The sin is EGO.

It is OK to proud but not to the point that you think of yourself as some sort of god. In other words, so long as you don't become so full of yourself that you place your accomplishments or whatever else you are proud of on a higher pedestal than God and His ability and power through you (which is how you are able to do anything good in the first place).

Yes, but it is the kind of pride that matters.....proud of something or someone is not a sin......too proud to admit you are wrong, or too proud to treat others as you should....or too proud to admit that you need God......that is the pride that is sinful.
It seperates you from the love that God asks us to have for one another....and it can ultimately seperate you from God.....and we know that is not good.

Yes, it is one sin that God loathes. It is this sin that brought down Satan. It is elevating one above others, even God. We are called to be humble, knowing our true position before God.
Pro 6:16 These six things Jehovah hates; yea, seven are hateful to his soul;
Pro 6:17 a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro 6:18 a heart that plots evil plans, feet hurrying to run to mischief,
Pro 6:19 a false witness who breathes lies, and he who causes strife among brothers.
Pro 16:5 Everyone proud in heart is disgusting to Jehovah; though hand join in hand he shall not be innocent.

Yes. In the Bible says that God draws near the humble and resists the proud. Pride is something that puffs us up like yeast in baked bread. But there is no substance to it...It's just hot air. The bible mentions being "leaven filled" as a bad thing. Leaven was the jews form of yeast. I hope that answers your question.

Yes, depending on what you're proud of. Example: if you're proud of getting a 100 on ur test, and then prancing around everyone saying you got a 100, yes its sinly. But, if you're jus proud of the test grade, and you maybe tell a few people and don't act like you're "Man of the world" then it's okay.

It depends on what kind of "proud" and to what extent. There's nothing wrong with a child being proud of getting a good score on a test when he or she studied hard to do so. But when that feeling overshadows the event and becomes all-encompassing, it becomes sinful.
