Can I make Fried dough from store bought pizza dough? It's soft and smushy, is that the type used for making pizza.

You should be able to use it. If you are frying it, it should still do the trick. You may want to roll the sticky dough in a little flour before frying it, and also make sure the dough is very cold and firm before frying too.

Unless you want you fry bread to taste funny, I would say no. Pizza dough is made with yeast, because you put it in an oven and bake it, so that it will rise. Yeast is for baking, not for frying. Overall, I don't think your fry bread will turn out the way you want it to.

Sure and if you want you can put them into a paper bag and coat with sugar and cinnamon - yum.
