Could be as someone else said, that you are getting too much sleep. It will make you tired, weird huh?
Teens need more sleep, though because your bobdy is changing so much. But indiviuals very no matter the age.
Try 7-8 mostly, and then 9-10 only a couple of days a week.
One more thing. Mononucleosis. If you have acquired it, not uncommon at your age, that will make you really tired. I had it at 13. Going to the doctor is not a bad idea, just to see.
don't panic though!

Your sleeping too much...the human body doesn't need that much sleep. Start setting your alarm clock so you don't oversleep....aim for between 7 and 9 hours of sleep a night. Also cut back on sugars and caffiene...both will make you feel great at first but will cause you to feel tired/exhausted later on because the spike your blood sugar then drop it. Make sure you are eating enough protein (chicken, fish, turkey, meat, green vegis). If after all that you are still exhausted all the time you could have diabetes or any number of other ailments...see a doctor. But to begin with...set that alarm clock and put it on the other side of the room so you have to get out of bed.

Go to the doctor and get checked out. You might have mono which is very common for people to get around your age. I had mono around your age and I slept all the time. I was also exhausted and my body hurt...it felt like I'd been run over by a truck. I had no energy to speak of.
Are you depressed? That could be an answer to why you are sleeping so much as well. Just ask you parents to take you in for a general physical so you can discuss you concerns with your doctor...that is your best bet. Hope you feel better.

You need to have a general health test to rule out any health problems, like hormonal disturbance... Some thyroid dysfunction, low hemoglobin levels or other healt problems may cause you to sleep too much and feel exhausted all day.

You should definitely see a doctor - it could be hypothyroidism or who knows how many other conditions. However, if you are like 99% of the people in the U.S., you eat a crappy diet. You need to stay away from sugary, white floury foods, fried foods and particularly soft drinks. Eat mostly vegetables and meat and some fruit. Take omega 3 in the form of fresh fish oil (tastes fine or use capsules) and take a whole food supplement like Alive! or Garden of Life. Don't let them give you psych drugs!!

Your thyroid could be out of tune! Try sleeping less....because too much sleep can drain you! Cut back to sleeping 8 hours or 7 hours. If that doesn't work, go see your doctor!

your sleeping too much, that is why you feel tired.
After 9 hrs, the human body does this thing where it becomes restless from too much rest. Thats whats happening with you.
You may need to eat less carbs (junk food, pizza, soda, juice) as well, take a multi vitamin, drink more water and do more physical activities.
