if God is all powerful why cant he kill or get rid of the devil

God threw the devil out of Heaven. Now he is allowed to walk the Earth to see that some people will follow God and not him. But, if you read in Revelation you will see the Devil will be cast into the lake of fire. I not sure if this will kill him. That up to God.

... you people don’t seem to understand this, I will explain it once more,
God made everything, right? Now moving on cuz we already know that, If God made everything then he made the Devil to right? Lucifer, the fallen angle, tried to deify God and was cast out of Heaven.
Ok back to the point of my righting this, The Power that the Devil has is allowed to him by God. God lets Lucifer tempt the people of the earth in order to see if we will do whatever God asks us to, what i am saying here is that if we came to earth and there was no devil, and we lived our lives there would be no temptation, there for no chance to sin, no way to test our resolve and coming to earth would be nearly pointless, that is why God lets the devil run ramped through the earth, so that we can be tested, If there where no test then why else come to earth?
To go over it all again, God lets Lucifer run ramped through the earth so that our life on earth can be a test to see if we will follow whatever it is that God tells us to do.
If God wanted to he could just destroy Lucifer, but He leaves him here to test our resolve.
The truth has been returned to the earth, Glory be to God on high.

Because the devil has free will just as much as men. He will one day, judgement day, in revelations it says he'll be cast into the endless abyss forever and ever. If he killed his creation (the devil was an angel before) he wouldn't be love, which, he is.
This is why God doesn't kill people. The devil, or other people, or other people possessed by the devil do.

because god wants to prove satan wrong.. Satan says that humans only worship god because because of what god offers humans.. so god is waiting to show satan otherwise. The only reason why god has not intervene is becuase since the world is in the power of the devil he doesnt want the devil to think that its true. 1 john says We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one (which is the devil) but soon jehovah god the all mighty will show satan whos boss and destroy him and his followers :)

God can do any thing. And is stronger then any thing.
However, when God made his various creations in the higher forms (angels, mankind) he did include free will.
The decision to love or not love Him is our choice every single day. God is not just some maniac killer like some of us humans are. He is a holy, just, righteous, and glorious God. Our so called complex way of thinking can not begin to match His thinking, and will.
Right now we are in an age of grace. But one day every one, including devils, will be judged by the king of kings and lord of lords. Unless a person turns away from their sins, and ask Jesus in their life they will die in their sins and a price has to be paid for those sins. Either the sinner pays for their own sins or the sinner accepts Jesus as their savior and goes to heaven.

First off.. no contest. God is all powerful, satan..nada!
God did get rid of him out of heaven, with a third of the angels who followed him. Cast him down to our earth. Why?
Why didn't he kill him? God only knows, He's in control.
Satan's days are numbered though, as is ours.

oh please.god created the devil.if god wanted him destroyed he would have.god does as he pleases.god has actually created the devil to tempt us in this life.so Allah allows the devil to tempt us so that we are tested for the next life.
