All my friends have side swept bangs and I wanted it too...
My hair is...
very, very thick
It is really really long (it almost touches the chair I sit in)
jet black
Very frizzy
hard to tame
I have a big forehead and my head is an oval shape but I don't know if I should get bangs. I can't cut my hair because I do indian dance so I have to leave it that long. Should I get side swept bangs? And if I get bangs, will straightening my bangs everyday have any long-term damage on my hair? Also, If I do get Side Swept bangs, what are some styles I can do with my long hair (can you give me pictures please?)

yes! Side swept bangs are wonderful. Ok check out my link- I think you get your hair done like that. It's very cute- and her hair seems to be the same as yours. Black/ thick/ long. probably not AS long but close :-) As for the frizziness, that's easy to tame. There's a lot of frizz-free products but I've learned that gel works best. But check out the link and tell me what you think- I LOVE her hair!!!

I usually would not suggest bangs to someone who has frizzy hair unless they straighten it often. Just think about what they will look like on a bad hair day and imagine if you can deal with bobby pining just that little bit of hair back to expose ur forehead every now and then. Its really up to how comfortable you feel about exposing your face. The side swept is a little less risky but there is still a lot of risk involved given the texture of your hair. JUST THINK ABOUT IT. : )

Personally, I have oily skin and bangs look horrible on me. Not to mention, in general, having your hair lay on your face can cause acne. Its a very cute style though!
