Sexual immorality hurts people and society.
Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years that it is God's will that:
+ Single people should be celibate.
+ Married people should be faithful to each other (adultery is wrong).
The Catholic Church recognizes the power of sex when it teaches, "Sexuality affects all aspects of the human person in the unity of his body and soul."
Chastity means the successful integration of sexuality within the person. A chaste person's body and spirit lives in unity and opposes any behavior that would impair that unity.
The purpose of sex is to bring a husband and wife closer and to create human life.
Fornication, sex between an unmarried man and an unmarried woman, is contrary to their human dignity and the dignity of human sexuality.
Adultery is even worse. Anyone who commits adultery
+ Does injury to the sign of the covenant which the marriage bond is
+ Transgresses the rights of the other spouse
+ Undermines the institution of marriage by breaking the contract on which it is based
+ Compromises the welfare of children who need their parents' stable union.
With love in Christ.

well things that 'Don't hurt anyone' are often the things that do the most damage.
If you really want to know, ask someone that's been there and regrets it. One great example is premarital sex. It's not just bad, it's bad for you, and the people around you. Ask an adult who made that mistake about it.
Another example is pornography. It's a 2 billion dollar a year business and the owners claim "it doesn't hurt anybody".
Well, it does.
Murder and rape rates are through the roof. People are more and more perverted. Video games and movies are getting closer and closer to porn itself (many have already done so!)
Things that seem harmless can often be very hurtful indeed. Becoming a slave to sin is much worse than a slave to God.

Since you didn't cite an example.... I will. Why, in some states can you go to jail for having oral sex with someone? The activity does not hurt anyone if mutual consent is given. Yet many states have laws making it a crime.... so why you ask? Every example prolly has its own faulty reasoning behind it. Sodomy laws were more than likely derived from the puritanical mindset so prevalent in this country years ago.
If you have more specific examples.... I would be glad to comment.

What would you say about a place in the middle east where so many of the boys now act like women and are gay. Do you want to know why, because male prostitution is big there for Europeans. They go to the country and because the boys are poor they pay them to have sex with them. These boys then start to feel violated and begin to act feminine because their masculinity has been tampered with. Isn't that hurting someone.

There is a big problem with many religious views. Sexuality of all kinds is a huge problem.
What does your common sense tell you? If you believe in God, does He have common sense? If He does, than it is likely that He is not too pleased with the bible.

B/c some people want to control everyone and everything. I honestly think that anyone who spends a lot of time wringing their hands over what two (or several?) consenting adults do in their homes should seek help.

Does the thought of "sinning against God" ever occur to anyone anymore?
People just love to toss around the second part of the Great Commandment (Love your neighbor as much as yourself) as if "as long as I don't hurt anybody, it's okay."
But how easily and conveniently we ignore the FIRST part of the Great Commandment, which is to (love God with all your heart, soul, and mind).
Whether it hurts anyone or not, you're sinning against God when you violate His Law.

just as long as you don't force you views on other people who don't want them its ok. Also if you start to affect another persons life with that then its not ok. Keep it to yourself and to the people who care

Are you talking about same sex marriage? Yes, they hurt us and God himself so we have all the reasons in the world to be concerned about "abomination".
