I wouldn't recommend it. Bottled water is safer.

Sometimes the tap water may not be heaIthy in İstanbul and Ankara.I think you shouldn't risk your health,it is better not to drink.Go and buy a bottle of water from a supermarket:)

Yep. in simple terms as long as you do not leave Istanbul and bypass to different cities that have not have been given stable therapy of water. to illustrate, mountain villages or some smaller cities. they have a tendency to be extra of a fortunate raffle. One time you drink the water you're effective, yet next time you will remorseful approximately ingesting the faucet water. yet I could say that Istanbul is risk-free. Drank the faucet there and did not have any issues.

It's not a big deal but bottled water is much more safer and it tastes way better than tap water.

Personally as being a Turkish person I do not drink tap water. It is better to have bottles.

Just say NO. Choose to drink bottled water. If you have no choice then you will probably get an upset tummy and sorts.

I'm not a 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure that it is better to not drink the water since you are not adapted to it and you don't know where it comes from...
