You cannot 'repair' your credit score. You will have to wait seven years, five if you live in New York. After that, you will be able to start over.

First of all, the time has to have passed (a minimum of 7 years) before the debt can be removed from your credit report. At that time, you will need to secure, in writing, a letter from all creditors that the debt is cleared and pass this on to the major credit reporting agencies (Trans Union is one). If it is an error on the credit reporting agency's part, you will need to do the request in writing - have it notarized, and submit all verifying documents. Just asking won't get it done.

Anything involved in a BK will remain on your credit report. It will be noted on the credit report that it was part of the BK, and the status of each account involved will be reflected on the report.

You can't simply remove those items now that the BK has taken place. They will stay on your credit report for 7 years from the date of disposition.

You can however rebuild and repair your credit by continuing to pay on time, and open a new credit card and paying that on time, and slowly raising the credit limit. Basically you need to start from scratch again and avoid ALL lates.

No more mistakes.

Go to this page: http://www.credit-yourself.com/credit-report.html

It gives step by step instructions on how to remove errors in your credit report.

I'm not so sure that a debt that was discharged in bankruptcy is an error. The only error would be if it was shown as an open item.
