A nose hole and I think of a snot ball
A lip hole and I think of infected spit
A tongue hole and I think of food trapped in there
Anything protruding from the side of your head, like your eyebrows and I think Frankenstein.
Popping holes in your face to stick random bits of cheap metal doesn't sound hot to me.

I love girls who have their nose pierced, but lately ive liked girls who have a mole piercing... right above your lip, its suppose to be in a spot a mole would be, but you have a beautiful jewel or stone there. Its hot!

i hav a tiny one right under my bottom lip ,,, but i guess guys probably like tongue piercings
