I like Advil cold & sinus for daytime, and I still take Nyquil at night even though they've changed the ingredients.
I am also a firm believer in Alka Seltzer cold plus. Yes, it tastes awful but it has worked wonders for me when I've got a cold or flu. But it always makes me tired so take it at night.
Feel Better!

Oh, and believe it or not, hot chicken soup or even just hot chicken broth has actually been proven to help in easing the cold symptoms.

I like Theraflu also. Sorry I've just named a bunch of meds, but I've tried everything! LOL

Tylonol makes a night time and day time version. If in doubt, ask a pharmacist. Because of all the losers who make Meth, most of the stuff that really works is hidden behind the pharmacy counter. Just ask that is what the pharmacist is there for.

Nyquil no longer contains a decongestant. Try Tylenol Cold. It comes in a liquid. Or ask the pharmacist.

The best cold medicine I know is approx. 5000 mg of vitamin C over the course of 10-12 hrs. Take two 1000 mg tablets every two hours for one day. You will probably be well the next day. WORKS!!!!! REALLY!

Sudafed has a dual pack with non drowsy for daytime and a stronger version for nighttime. Works great on my kids but I don't know how well for adults.
