First step is making sure you are eating healthy. Next step is exercise. Squats and lunges are your best bet! Start doing those and as they get easier for you, add weights in! If you build up the muscle, it will burn fat to make you toned!

#1 - Start a diet program. BUT, before starting, make sure the week before you have all the foods that you will need for this diet.Lessens the fact that you will overeat or cheat on the diet. Being on a diet program will make you feel better and help you with your workouts.

#2- Participate in a fitness program at the least 3 days a week for 30 minutes. If you really wanna lose that fat, do it for 5 days a week for 30 minutes for about two-three weeks. Just remember, a 30 minute workout will only be enough to pick up your heartrate and you will not burn that much fat. After 30 minutes your body burns more fat!! Also, you will notice you will lose inches and feel a difference within 3 weeks.

--Suggestions for those problem areas you mentioned, take up walking,swimming, or taebo.
