I have a curvy frame... not fat, but not skinny. I'm 5'3 and 135 pounds. My mom is always hinting to me that I'm not "skinny enough". But she's a size 2!! I think I'm just a little fuller than her. I have an hourglass shape and am very proportionate, I just have a larger bust, hips, and thighs... but i don't have a large waist!

Should I be concerned about my weight? Is it unattractive?

properly, in the event that they meant it to be an insult, then they ought to have an exceedingly unusual thought of what's an captivating physique shape. Hourglass is in all possibility the main needed physique shape by using women and females, and yet purely 8% of the inhabitants certainly very own an hourglass discern. So i could say it particularly is compliment and you need to count extensive style your self fortunate : )

Are you comfortable with yourself? Just because your Mom is a size 2 doesn't mean you have to be. I am a size 2 and I prayed that my kids wouldn't get stuck with the hereditary gene of thinness as I call it. I hate it. And my boys are thin but they are not tiny like me. They have an average body build for their ages. It's not what you look like on the outside it whats inside that counts but if your healthy and aren't ashamed of your body type then don't let it bother you what your Mom says.

dude, I'm sure you look fine. 135 is not disportionate to your wieght. Find a BMI calculator online and see for yourself.

Don't let anyone take away your self esteem, in this world, all you have is yourself. Nobody's going to stick up for you but you.

It's sad that your mom's like that but you have to move on.

You are fine, great actually, next time she makes a negative remark about your waist size, tell her she isn't busty enough. Hopefully it will be the hint she needs to stop buggying you about your very healthy/attractive weight.

okay, it isn't unattractive, you shouldn't be worried about your weight, the average woman is like a size 5-10, so your mom's smaller than most, be yourself, tell your mom that what she thinks is thin and what you think is thin are two completely different things.

Here's a quick way to determine if you are just fine or a bit heavy. When you walk, do your inner thighs rub against one another? Does your butt jiggle a bit too excessively when you walk? If so, then you are a bit on the plump side.

if you are happy with the way you look then to heck with everyone else. Beauty comes from within not from the way others see you. Just be happy
