I recently went through very stressfull time in my marriage over the last 3 mos. I think we are on the downhill slide now. During this time, my body has taken a bad turn. I have been to the dr and my sugar is @ a 6 (borderline diabetic). I am working to bring that down, but am severely fatigued. Sweeping tires me out! I have to get back into my exercise program, and into my good eating habits! But, I am so tired all the time. What can I do? I am also easily distracted, and have notice memory issues. Is this all sugar related or could there be more to it? My muscles have disappeared and I am sore al lover. I don't want to do anything. I wake up tired.

Get tested for Chronic Fatigue syndrom, a very, very real entity in our society. Also, you may make minor changes to your life style. Instead of going grocery shopping for TWO hours, limit yourself to 45 minutes, I'm sure the people around you that love you will understand, also, try to determine the stressors in your life and either eliminate them OR use the "cutting down" method...other than that, take LOTS of naps, and they're are excellent legal meds to assist too.

Definitely get testing done from your doctor to rule out what it is or isn't.
Go online and do some research on Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
You should only do little things at a time, never push yourself or over do it. If you want to exercise just do easy things. If it is possible take a nap in the early afternoon.
I just got diagnosed with this and I am just starting to try to get over it.
I know how you feel and wish you the best. Sometimes people just don't understand that you can be that tired. Some do though!!

Good Luck!!

Go back and see your doc. Seems like you may have a little depression going on which does cause fatigue and muscle soreness. There's new anti-depressent out that works great for the fatigue and the generalized pain. It's called Cymbalta. You might want to research chronic fatigue syndrome too on webmd.com. And yes, watch your sugar, it can definately affect energy levels. Hope You Feel Better Soon!!!

I would get a COMPLETE medical physical with bloodwork and all to rule out things like high or low blood sugar, thyroid issues, etc. I would exercise regularly, eat well, try to go to sleep the same time and wake up the same time each day, not smoke, not drink. If that doesn't help, counseling might help with the stressful aspect of it.

Get a friend and start going to the gym, having a buddy there to keep you focused should help.
