Hi there!
Its kind of like saying is fire good or bad for you. Fire can burn you but it can also keep you warm.
The difference is what does your body need. If you are overweight and trying to lose weight, then conventional pizza is not really good for you since it has a lot of calories in it.
If you are trying to maintain or gain weight, you can be more liberal on your pizza consumption. While not ultra nutritious, it does have a lot of food groups in it.
I would sum it up by saying that if make your own pizza without a lot of the grease and sugar, it is not that bad for you. We make it all the time.
I believe this answers your question, but if not, you may email me.
Good luck on your diet and fitness goals!

There is really no "bad" food as long as you keep everything in moderate. If you have a slice of pizza once in a while, will it harm you? No... But if you have pizza every day or every week, then you may gain some weight.
Obviously, it also matters how the pizza is prepared as well. You can make your own pizza from scatch and make it healtier.

Homemade pizza is, but not the crap your order from pizza places. That has wayyyyyyyyy to much crap.
Make your own. Get whole wheat pizza bread or pita bread or flat bread. Get low fat cheese. FLOOD it with vegetables--peppers, tomatos, onions, garlic, mushrooms. And use healthy sauce that doesn't have added unhealthy ingredients in it.
As far as pizza being good. It's not good or bad. It's just food. The thing is it's soooooooooooooooooooooo fattening that it'll take up a large percent of your daily fat in just one slice. So you have to be mindful of that.

It depends how it is made. Usually the pizza you buy at any pizza shop is not good for you. BUT, you can make pizza yourself!
Top it with sauce, LOWFAT or FAT FREE cheeses (pizza shops use full fat cheeses usually), and for toppings--try not to use pepperoni/sausage/etc because those are high in fat... if you want meat--grilled chicken is a good choice; other good toppings: broccoli, peppers, etc. Try new things! But make sure you use lower-fat products or else it is high fat and pretty unhealthy. Even better if you can get a whole-wheat crust.

It's a healthy food, it contains tomatoes which contain licopenes(spelling??) which are good for you, along with the other toppings.
Enjoy your pizza, in moderation or as a very special treat.

As far as fast foods go it is probably the best of them because of the fresh ingredients involved in its toppings - so long as there is not too much oil involved in its making. The crust can be a bit of a problem depending on how it is made - best to go for a thinner one than a pan type.

"Good" for you in what sense? It's a very satisfying meal, fun to eat, and tastes great. It's certainly good for you from that perspective!
If you mean "is it healthy for you to eat pizza," -- well, not so much. It's heavy in fat (from the cheese), and heavy in carbohydrates (from the crust and sauce).
In moderation, though, it's fine. I cannot imagine life without pizza from time to time, actually.

My nutrionist has told me that pizza is fine as long as it's one piece, thin crust (no extra cheese) and you eat it with a salad.
