Depending on how long he has to do if found guilty. Now if hes in Central Booking i say wait. If not don't waist you time because hes gonna come out bitter that you didn't accept the calls, put enough money in his commissary, missed his visiting day, didn't find a girl for his new cell mate honey the list is endless. And most importantly HES in jail Not you!! So live your life and be happy. You'll be sad a first but trust me its all for the best and that YOU

Yeah my boyfriend is in jail too for something he didn't do! until next November he took a charge for his friend.I told him he is so ****'n stoopid! But i'm waiting for him because I love him to death and we were together for 31/2 years, so yeah of course i'll wait for someone i love! it gets lonely and all but he's not gone forever! And we'll be in each others arms again! He's been in jail now since July,2006. He might get parole in March. But i'd rather him do his whole time so he 'll have no worries
I miss him so much though!

Sweetie, there are very few people in jail that are truly not guilty. My suggestion to you would be drop him like a bad habit, find yourself someone who respects himself and has no desire to be around any thing or anyone that could remotely land him in jail. Get someone with an education and some goals for the future, sounds to me like the guy you are with only has one goal, controlling you so you will WAIT for him. What a waste of your time, remember the one thing you give to a person that you can never get back is your time. Don't waste your time, spend it wisely....

went to jail and pled guilty, because I was.
You can't help him in there. Write him and tell him your thoughts. It is very important that he has someone on the outside that loves him. Regardless of what others think, it's your life, and your decision. If it's love, than wait it out! It's very lonely in prison, even if there are hundreds around you. You are still alone.

Nope, never dated anyone who went to jail, and if they ever did, well I'd say serves them right for what they did and I wouldn't wait on them, it would be a lost cause.

EVERY ONE IN JAIL IS INNOCENT. IF HE DIDN'T DO IT WHY IS HE IN JAIL SO LONG THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT ? IT MIGHT BE TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE IN YOUR DATING SITUATION.

Everyone in jail will tell you that they are innocent and did not do it. Dump him and find someone worthwhile.
