If everyone keeps telling me im so pretty or hot, then why dont guys come to me.?

Every ones always telling my mom that im really georgous and my friends always tell that im the so beautiful which i dont believe and i denied it when i went out with my boyfriend and he said that always be proud of your beauty. But now hes long gone and i miss him but now that im single why dont guys come to me

Same thing happened to me... Many guys are scared of rejection from pretty girls... Just be patient. A good guy will come along. Many people have told me Im gorgeous too, but I rarely if ever get hit on. So I've asked my guy friends about this and they told me that its intimidating to ask a very gorgeous girl out and get rejected. Its too scary so often guys WONT do it. Sucks for them. O well.

Because you have a negative self image. You said it yourself, you don't believe you are beautiful, so why should anyone else? Looks are only the tip of the iceberg, you could be stunning but if your outlook is negative, you are putting off a negative "victim" energy and until you change how you feel about yourself, no man will really "come" to you. Or you will attract what your signal is sending out...and if that's negativity and low self esteem, why kind of men do you think you'll attract? Change comes from the inside out, take time learning to value and love yourself, the rest will come with time. Good luck.

well if you are really that scared, come out to one of the girls and hope that they will be your pretend gf. But i will say this, When i went through high school i didn't date either and people did think i was gay because of it, (even though i am) but they could not prove that i was gay so they really couldn't do anything. It will most likely be the same with you. Oh, and if anyone does attack you because you are gay, that is a hate crime, go immediately to the principal (may sound cowardly but by doing this you show people it is wrong and at the same time you are protecting other gay people in your school). ps. kudos to you for coming out so early!

Guys get intimidated by a girls beauty if they are independant and seem strong. Always be personable and approachable by smiling alot and have fun. Never let this go to your head...always stay down to earth, if you dont that will kill your beauty in a heart beat.

Strange how life turns out, think I've got the same problem for not accepting who i am, this is never easy for sometimes i don't trust others answers as i trust my own, but yet we know who we are and where we are going to, for there is but few to trust, do you believe you are able to meet someone that you can trust when he/she gives you a simple answer as you are pretty or nice to be around???

Oh my god! I have the exact same problem. All my friends and family tell me the same thing, that I'm a head turner and all that but I never notice it. Two people over the course of the week have said I'm too fussy.

The best advice anyone can offer is...smile...always say hello to whomever is present...be interested in what others are doing...be as outgoing as you feel comfortable with..A good sense of humor and an outgoing personality are the most desirable traits for either sex.....

It sounds like your opinion of yourself and others opinions of you differ greatly. If you have a low opinion of yourself and don't value yourself (whether it's because you don't like how you look or you don't like some other aspect of yourself) others won't value you either.

You need to be comfortable with how you look before you can be confident enough to be part of a couple that will work.
