She's 2 months old but she's very agressive with my little sister and my other pets. Is it because of her breed or is it because of her age?

Let's get this straight......you get a dog that is a mixture of 3 different breeds that are all more naturally aggressive than other breeds and then ask what to do?

You are the perfect case of a person that does not do research on dog breeds before getting one to make sure that a certain type of dog will fit into their lifestyle.

Aggressive dog breeds are not for everyone.

Check out this website on some tips with dealing with an aggressive puppy.

If you still feel that you cannot handle the puppy please consult with a professional trainer. If that still doesn't solve the problem and you (or any other family member develops fear of the animal)find an appropriate home for it with someone that has experience with handling aggressive dogs. They need to be handled in a special way and if you don't have experience you can create a bigger problem trying to handle it yourself.

It could be just being a puppy. She maybe showing she is the boss, she wants to be pack leader, You need to become her pack leader. The puppy is a mix of very strong breeds. Breed alone will not make a dog agressive. Work with her and you canget her under control.

There are a couple of questions?
1. Has she been fixed?
2. Is there rough play in the house
3. Are the other dogs female

The reason why I ask this as I also have a Rotweiller is animals with that breed mix will try to claim domance in the home. They want to be the boss and you have to make sure that you maintain that power over them. Also if there is rough play in the house they will adapt that as the "normal". My suggustion of course is 1st if she is not fixed.. get her fixed. Then watch the rough play and ensuure that you remain the Alpha female in the house.

It's the breed. I'm sorry to say. Pitt Bull/Rottwieller is a very bad combination in a dog for a family pet. Pitt Bulls are banned in many areas because they have the tendency to become vicious and attack even their owners without warning. A little boy died, in my area recently when the family's pit bull/rotteieller mix attacked
him. The family had had the dog even before the little boy was born.
I wouldn't take the chance, if I were you. I'd take the dog to the Humane Society or local animal shelter and get a different dog more suited to being a family pet.

Becuase of her training. Agressive dogs aren't born they are created. Did you just get her at 2 months? If you got her any younger she will have socialization problems. But anyways how do people play with the dog? Tug-o-war is an aggresion building game, so is letting the dog chase you. If you really are concerned..now this part costs money, but an expensive well behaved dog is better than a dangerous cheap one..take the dog to puppy training classes. They will get trained and so will you.

It could be a mixture of both her breed and her age. Most of the time with dogs it's all about dominance. I have a chow chow that I've had since he was a pup, the second he started to get aggresive I showed him whose boss. I did not abuse him or harm him in any way. Every time he growled at me or someone esle (especially children) I simply lay him down and kept my head above his. I would suggest to CALMLY get this pup on her back and keep her that way, at the same time allow you sis. to stand over this pup. She may be thinking that she is the Alpha of the group or the Leader and thus is just trying to signal her dominance over everyone. I would suggest looking up a guy named Cesear (sp?) he's on Animal Planet a lot and he is really good at teaching human owners on how to show their dog that they are boss. I'm not suggesting that you hire him, just look around and see if you can find some info on what his techniques are. Hope this helps!

probably because of her age. She is trying to figure out where she is in the 'pack' and she WANTS to be the alpha dog, so she is pushing your limits, to see who she can dominate over. You should try enrolling her in puppy classes so you can learn how to let her know that she is NOT above anyone in the house hold. I'm not sure how old puppies have to be, but try calling the different trainers in your area and ask them. You can also ask your vet for advice, and see if they recommend any specific dog trainer. I really don't think it is her breed, i think it is her age. But because she will be a big powerful dog, you need to get controll of it as soon as you can. Good Luck!

A dog her age and mix will probably be a little rowdy. Your best chance to have her grow up to be a sweet pet? Socialize. Take her to the park, the pet store, enroll her in a class or a puppy play time, take her to day care, etc. This time is crucial for her development, and the more people, pets, and situations she is exposed to, the more tolerant she will grow to be.

at this age, it's probably just being playful and energetic. You need to teach the dog that rough behavior is not the norm. How little is little sister? Many APBT's and other large breeds should be kept away from small children just for that reason. They can easily knock small children down. Obedience training is a must, and whatever you do, PLEASE be a responsible dog owner and protect anyone FIRST and train your dog second.

Pit bulls at the instant are not for sure aggressive. end being so ignorant human beings. Pit bulls are very candy natured and loving. If a Pit bull became to be aggressive it may maximum in all probability be in direction of yet another animal. they are very human beings oriented. She is in the domestic dog point. I even have 2, 10 week previous Shar Pei doggies and that they are in simple terms as aggressive, if not extra so then anybody thinks Pit bulls are. My Shar Pei male tried to aggressively assault our female Shar Pei whilst she first got here into our abode. I corrected him suitable away and now they are terrific pals. you in simple terms would desire to be continual with correcting her habit. If she bites you, maximum suitable her and walk away, do no longer shop fidgeting along with her. tell your little brothers the comparable ingredient. anybody in the abode desires to be on the comparable web site or she isn't taught. If this would not artwork, take her for obedience training. She is in simple terms a domestic dog and that they are teething and that they actually dont understand to any extent further useful except YOU practice them. It has no longer something to do with the mummy. in simple terms by using fact she left her mom at 9 weeks doesnt make her this way. in spite of if she did stay along with her mom till she became older that would not end her from attempting to chew you. 9 weeks is a splendidly wonderful time to go away the mummy. I have been given my doggies whilst they have been in simple terms 7 weeks previous and that they are completely wonderful. Be continual and stern along with her. She desires to learn whos boss. good luck !!
