I am going into dentistry and I am completely obsessed with my teeth being white. Now, take it from me, I have tried EVERYTHING. The Crest Whitestrips were so so. I think the reason they are so popular is because of their advertising. I, however, do not really care to fork out $30.
I tried a system called Plus White. It comes with a mouth tray and a rinse and a gel for a whopping $10 dollars at most drugstores and grocery stores. You can even buy it on drugstore.com. When I use up all of the gel (which is about the size of a tube of toothpaste) I just buy the gel for $5. They say to leave it in for 5 minutes, but I'll use it for about 4 days for 30 minutes each time, and you wouldn't believe how white my teeth are. People are CONSTANTLY asking what I use.
SO, you can pay $30 for something that lasts a month, or you can pay $10 for something that could last an entire year with better results...

Anyone who said Crest Whitestrips Premium Plus is right. I used them over a year ago, and people still tell me how white my teeth are. They do increase the sensitivity in your teeth after a couple of days though, but it is well worth it.

Crest Whitestrips Premium Plus is what I used.
Most drugstores or supermarkets carry it, and it runs about thirty dollars.
Works great for yellow stains on teeth. The only problem that I found was that it was extremely inconvenient and hard to talk at all with them on. You wear the strips twice a day, thirty minutes each. Your teeth may become a little sore. It's an all around great product, but I found that results don't last for the promised 18 months.

The best (in my opinion) is Crest Whitestrips they cost anywhere from $25 to $35
Also a good way to whiten your teeth is to use Crest Vivid White Toothpaste I've used it and it's good to keep up appearances.

You will not see any significant whitening with over the counter whiteners. To see real results you need to go see a Dentist and get fitted for bleaching trays and buy it from them.

I don't know of a whitening product to recommend but I do recommend the Sonicare toothbrush. My teeth have gotten whiter since I started using my Sonicare toothbrush regardless of what kind of toothpaste I use. It is a little spendy but worth it.
