I use baking soda once a week. When I lather my hair I put a handful of baking soda into the hair & lather it again. I let it sit for a few minutes, then I rinse it well. It works well & is very inexpensive. I also use it as an exfoliator to, I make a paste with it & rub it lightly onto my face, then I rinse it well & I skin is smoother than any other facial scrub I've used.
