Well I don't know them well so I will go to the dollar store. How about a coffe mug full of candy inside. Do something artistic so they will know you care and took your time.

Not everyone appreciates "homemade" goodies. I've seen them go straight into the trash bin.
Either buy a box of chocolates or satsumas for the office with a "Happy Holidays to All" card, or set a card on each desk with a small holiday candle.

If you are very new I would say not to. Being so new it would be awkward. I have always waited when starting a new job close to the holidays to see whet the rythym of the office is. Also since you just started people will understand it also on a finacial level.
Besides you dont want to look like a suck up.

Not anything big, maybe a little something would be nice since you're new. Try a Christmas tree shop or something where you can find nice things that won't over do it. If you're not too friendly with everyone but you are with some co-workers, then maybe just give to them and not the others. Stick with the first suggestion, something small for everyone- its guaranteed, I know because I've done it and everyone was so happy.

No No No please dont buy a gift for anyone they are probly like me and just hoping to get through this time of year without all the christmas crap!We dont all celebrate christmas! I choose not to celebrate not for religous reasons but for moral reasons.Christmas is based on lies and greed! Guess what I have many many freinds who feel the same way. They dont put up trees they eat pizza and we hang out together doing nonchristmas stuff because christmas sucks.Dont assume they celebrate it..Thats really kind of rude.

Ask someone you feel comfortable with. I would just say, I want to do the right thing, and I don't know what you guys do here. Whatever they do, I know you just don't want to stick out. We are only 4, so I buy for my boss and the 2 clerks in our office.

The best thing is to get them a nice thank you card each and write a nice text in it! Tell them how you appreciate their friendship and that although you don't celebrate xmas, its been a merry one for you! It wont cost much and they will always remember it :) ps. you can get them 2 nice choc boxes as well, you know the very small ones you get for a dollar or two but branded? that would do! merry xmas :)

I'd buy one gift for the entire office -- maybe some chocolates or fruit.

If you have subordinates, I'd get them something. A gift certificate for lunch would be nice. Other than that, I'd do cards and a plate of cookies in the break room.
