Me too... the curse of the fair, my grandmother called it. I have Irish/Scottish/English fair skin, and I stay out of the sun because of a high risk of skin cancer in my family. Everyone can read the level of excitement, exertion, and irritation in my facial color... I've had trainers at the fitness club tell me to slow down my workout because they thought I was too red in the face. Problem is, as soon as I start to sweat I turn all red, and I have to tell them that I'm really okay. Really annoying. People here (in Southern California) are all used to seeing darker complected people, and when my ghost-white face shows up, they don't know what to think of me. Am I dying of cancer? Do I have a heart condition? Am I a borderline albino (ha-ha)? It's really funny when it gets cold outside, cuz my face gets really pink in the cold and wind. People all ask me where I was running from... and I've only just stepped out the door!

My daughter does that. Took her to the doc's once for it because the school kept freaking out. She is fine. That's just what some people do. Nothing to worry about. Although she did play it at school abit, since they were always commenting on it. They'ed say "Are you hot? Do you need to splash some water on your face honey?" Of course she felt fine, but always went to the restroom since they suggested it.
