It sounds like she might have kennel cough (so named because they usually pick it up from other dogs in kennels). I got a rescue dog from the RSPCA and he had kennel cough, complete with the sneezing and phlegm you describe.

The vet said it would pass in about 3 weeks, but he could give an antibiotic injection if it went on longer than that. See how it goes, but it will most probably clear up on its own.

Definitely head to the vet. Sounds like kennel cough or an upper respiratory infection. It may have even moved into the lungs. If you let it persist it could turn into pneumonia. Is your dog on heartworm prevention? Make sure she is or get her tested if she's not.

Never blow into a dogs nose, that has to be the most stupid thing I've ever seen on this! It's bl00dy dangerous. I can't really help I don't know much about colds in animals but I know that you shouldn't be trusting peoples comments on your animals condition. Take her to a vet mate, best be safe than sorry.

Grab her nose and blow into it. It might help, it'll clear it out. She might have something stuck in her nose. See if her nose is dry and warm, if it is, it'll be that she's sick. Or......I'm not suggesting you do this, but give her one crushed tablet of asprin mixed with egg or something she likes to eat. It's something I do when my dogs would get sick. I've done it to my basset hounds or my black lab/wolf.
