Romans 1:26  For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
King James Bible

In unmistakable language, both male homosexuality and lesbianism are condemned by the inspired apostle Paul: “God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.” Romans 1:26, 27.

Paul specifically mentioned those who evidently take on a passive sexual role and those who assume a more active “male” role in their immoral relations. Thus he made it plain that God disapproves of all homosexual acts.

Paul is saying that anyone that is "homosexual, or & adulterers, nor effeminate "having unsuitable feminine qualities" nor abusers" so he is not just referring to homosexuals but to all above, these cannot be approved of God or receive any blessings from the Kingdom that Jesus talked about when he was on the earth.

Homosexuality is not an alternative life-style acceptable to God. Frequently, both gay and liberal preachers twist the scriptures in futile endeavors to make it seem that it is. (2 Peter 3:16) Thousands of years ago Jehovah destroyed Sodom because most of the males of that city practiced it. Centuries later the apostle Peter likened men who copied those Sodomites to “unreasoning animals born naturally to be caught and destroyed.” 2 Peter 2:6-13.

There's a great documentary called "For the Bible Tells Me So" which is about how religion and homosexuality aren't as incompatible as some might think. While there are no passages in the Bible that say homosexuality is ok (although some people might point to the relationships between Ruth and Naomi or David and Jonathan), the Bible also doesn't really say that same sex relationships are wrong either. Most of those verses have more to do with rape and prostitution.

While I do not have a verse, I had a discussion over this subject with someone who researched it deeply. Now, according to him, the message of Man shall not sleep with Man was given at a time when men were sleeping with anyone and anything. Not because they had the sexual urge to do so, but because they could. Men weren't known to actually be attracted to men, but instead simply did so through acts of social respect or rites of passage etc.. The same holds for women and women, as it says in Jude that women will take the place of men.. and such, they would then take Man shall not sleep with Man as well.. anywho.. this I believe is now outdated.. because now Men actually have chemical mechanisms in their bodies that say, I'm attracted to men.. and women have the same saying, I'm attracted to women.. However, those who choose to act against their own sexual nature.. i beleive should still be considered as acting against the advice of the bible.. But keep in mind.. the bible is giving advice.. not do or die laws.. people may think the bible implies that they are do or die laws.. but it also says that those who do not know the truth, will not be punished for not knowing.. how do you punish any human then? .. as we are left only to speculate on truth.. knowing nothing.. ever.. except that we know nothing

No, only against men sleeping with men. This is because even ancient superstitious man thought lesbianism was cool.

Of course people will apply the "man lie with man" scripture as against women doing the same. But the bible gives specific scripture about how women should behave sexually (for instance, stoning rape victims who do not cry out in a city); so it wouldn't need to lump women with men.

Yes it sure does.
In Genesis 19:1-29 the cities of Sodom and Gommorah were destroyed because the people were so wicked. The men of the city wanted to have sex with other men. So God's judgement on the city was to destroy it by raining down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah.

Leviticus 18:22 (speaking to men in Israel) "Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable."

Leviticus 20:13 "If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads."

Romans 1:26-27 "Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. EVEN THEIR WOMEN exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

1 Corinthians 6:9 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders...will inhereit the kingdom of God."

1 Corinthians 6:13 "The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body."

1 Timothy 1:8-10 "We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers."

The verse from Romans is about too much sex drive, not sexual orientation. Of course from Paul's point of view, any sex was too much. He was so sure that the second coming was going to occur within their lifetimes that procreation was pointless.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (NIV): "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

Romans 1:24-32:

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

The Biblical references pretty much exclusively discuss men, so I suppose women are not persecuted thus.

I can't support any religion that commands people to deny who they are.
