It's hard to answer that, but if you really like that person inside and out. You like them on their bad days when they look horrible and you will do almost anything for them that's love. It's just this great feeling you have inside and if you feel that you will know. Just look in that other person's eyes. Good luck, i hope you figure it out.

If you are in love then it will fill different than ne other time you were involved with someone. With lust it's jus the same old thing and it can end at netime but don't sweat it you'll be able to tell the difference if it really is love you'll know it.

Time. I've heard it takes at least a year to really know someone so if you're still going strong after a year, maybe 1.5 years, that should tell you something.
I also think in the beginning, it's always lust.

Can you see yourself growing old with him/her?
Can you stand to be around them for more than 20 minutes?
Do you feel like half of you is gone when they're not around?
Are they stuck in your head day after day?

I believe its love if you answered these questions 'yes'.

Do you want to jump on them when you see them?
Do you want them togo home after you've had sex?
Are you only interested int he physical side of this relationship?

I believe its lust if you answered these questions 'yes'.

most times lust is that amazing tingly feeling when you first start up a relationship. Its love when your heart aches when you arent around that other person and your heart just skips a beat when that other person is around

mmmmm, that's a hard one. I think when you haven't been with that person for that longer time then i think its lust. When it's been for a while and you've actually been through things together and shared experiences then i think its love.

ask yourself:
do you get just as excited about seeing him/her just to hang out as you do about seeing them to hook up?

do you find yourself thinking about the little, nonsexual, things you like about them like the way they laugh, the cute faces they make when they talk, etc?

if they were sick and couldn't get out of bed for a week, would you WANT to take care of them, even if you got nothing out of it yourself?

if you're answering yes to these questions, there's a good chance it's love and not lust.

For me, lust is usually just temporary. Love is this feeling that won't go away, no matter how much you try to fight it. It's much lovelier too ^.~.

You think of yourself with the person if they just got in an accident leaving them in a wheelchair or something and see if you can still picture yourself with them and in love.

Seems a bit morbid but it does work.

O you will feel it. When you find yourself constantly thinking about them, you want to be around them all the time, you think about more then just sex with them, even the little things make you happy around him, theres a lot of signs....
