hahaha...Id be happy with a guy who doesnt live at home with his momma, but has his own place. I dont care if its small or large or whatever.... But he has to be able to take care of himself. Independence is important to me. I've been living on my own and in MY OWN house for 6 yrs now. I wouldnt expect any less from a man that I keep in my company.

Limiting to only the two options you provided, then of course women would prefer the guy with the mansion. But if what you really want to know if money matters, then that would depend on the woman. There are some women who are gold diggers and would choose the rich man every time regardless of his personality. Personally I would rather be with a man that is kind, caring and treats people with respect that lives in a modest apartment over a rich man that cares only about money.
In fact the man that I am with now is not rich by any means but I chose him over the surgeon that I was dating at the time we met.

Okay, let's be realistic. Homeless guy is just that a guy without a home and a job. We need money to live and a place to stay. Now most of us would like the mansion and the guy who has a good heart but they usually don't come together. But someone that has a place to stay and that is employed then you can look on the inside.

Well, what's inside counts the most but I think that most women prefer something inbetween. Rich guys are never home, not there for you and many times phalandelers. Homeless guys haven't shown that they can even take responsibility for themselves - how can they take care of a woman or have a family. So to some extent yes women have preferences. But there is the occasional diamond in the rough of a very rich man who will sacrifice of some of his riches to be with you and a diamond in the rough of a very poor man willing to work unbelievably hard to change his situation for the woman who loves him.

Mansions, every woman wants and needs security. I certainly don't want a homeless man, it may be whats inside that counts, But when starvation walks in the front door , love runs out the back door.

I don't prefer either. If you are doing your best and trying to get wherever you want to be then I'm cool with it. If you have a mansion then that's nice, but that is not why I want to be with a person. It has to equal, inside and out. But if I have my own place and you're homeless, hell no I'm not gonna talk to you because you are not on the same level as me.

I don't think there's any woman that would want to go out with a homeless guy but if your getting at the point of is it all about money then no its not. You can get a man with money that is a right cold prick and then 10 out of 10 times you'll get a guy that isn't as well of and hes a warm caring gentle man.

It's the guy not the house. yes women like to be secure not have a lot of possessions. If the woman is that shallow then it's up to the guy to be with her or not. I for one go for the guy that treats me like I should be treated. Money doesn't matter to me. As long as the bills are paid and he treats me with respect then I am happy. Not all women are gold diggers and I for one can't stand someone who is like that.

Guess it depends on the girl. I have learned the hard way to at least date a guy that has a job and his own place...not a mansion, just a place..and any job as long as he takes care of himself and doesn't want to live off of me!

You mentioned 2 extremes=homelessness/mansion.
There's a middle ground that's everything else, and that's the majority. I don't think all women are golddiggers. Look at how many women who support themselves, and single moms, etc. Your attitude is really unreasonable.
People generally like people they can relate to, and that includes economically, too (e.g., middle class with middle class, etc.)
