Could mean either. If he offers help it could be because he has designs on you and it is a way of getting closer to you. On the other hand he may have no interest in you and is just being kind and helpful. You will soon spot the difference.

Personally, I would do things like this.
I've asked girls to help with stuff in the past because I liked them. It's a roundabout way of asking for a date when I was too chicken to ask properly. This way if the girl says no, I'll not be totally embarssed.
If u like this person then you're in a good situation.

Could be a sign that he like you. If your cute, than yes, he fancies you, if he's just a nice guy, than nothing.
