Almost 4 years and no end in sight.

Because Washington doesn't have an answer. Fighting an insurgency war is very hard for a country like the US. It requires a lot of 'boots on the ground'; at a time when we don't have a draft.

Stop watching so much TV and playing so much video games wars can not be wrapped up in 1/2 hour it takes time especially today we could have finish it in days my decimating Iraq but people like you and the rest of the world would condemn it because of all of the civilian casualties you can't have it both ways. Here are the clear choices in wars today...... End quickly, massive devastation high civilian deaths or prolong for years minimal civilian deaths the choice is evident.

It took how many years to form our own country? Think about it. It wasnt till the late 50's that germany really began to get back on its feet. South Korea still depends on us. basically, once you have gone from peace making, to peace keeping, and then on to nation building will you see an end in sight. Basically what I am saying, the original estimates of 10 to 15 years would seem correct. Perhaps longer considering the instability of the region and surrounding countries.

because the white man bush and cheney can't get the sand colored people to bow down to them and let them take over there country and steal there oil and land an change there entire life like they did with all countries etc...........Think about it all through history white people have tried to take over the world and run stuff and kill all ppl whom don't fall in line or agree with them..They need to stop being such a greedy bunch of ppl its OIL for BLOOD WAR

Because redeplying in the same area (Iran) would cost more. It is better to stay there, rather than come back home and then having to go there, maybe.

Cause no one thought it through, they thought they could just go in, bomb the place to bits and then leave without anyone fighting back or being upset about it.
