I have the same exact problem with my boyfriend. He doesn't seem to trust me AT ALL. But i don't do anything wrong, he's just very insecure about himself. I would never cheat on him or hurt him in any way, but he seems to think that i will. I think both our boyfriends are VERY insecure about themselves. But we both have to give them time. Guys take longer to build trust in a relationship, especially if the boyfriend is automatically insecure about himself. I tell my boyfriend too what i'm doing, even if it's bad. Like, for example, if i talked to another guy that day, i would tell him. It'll get him mad though, to hear i've been talking with another guy, but he appreciates my honesty. That's how relationships grow. Make sure your continually honest. He will trust you in due time, as will my boyfriend will. Always keep in mind that he loves you, he is simply too scared of losing you. Don't make his bad dreams come true. Continue to stick by him and make him feel good about himself.

Hope i helped!

Talk to him about it. Put it to him directly that just because he doesn't trust you doesn't mean you don't deserve the trust.

Point out that jealousy and insecurity are to faces on the same coin and that at this point in time he's the one that's causing the problems because of this lack of trust.

As someone that's polyamorous, I've had to deal with jealousy (as most poly people do). A look up on the web should get you references to emotional tools to handling and dealing with jealousy. Just because you aren't polyamorous doesn't mean you can't use the same methods at dealing with jealousy.

I think you are correct. He is a little insecure. If you live in separate houses/apartments a way of building trust is exchanging house keys. If you do not trust enough to do that, then just continue to be who you are and eventually he will realize that you are not that way.

You need to give him more sex and more food. A guy only needs those 2 things to be happy. You will gain your trust if you have more sex with him and feed him good food. He will be eternally grateful and love you.

Sounds like he is the one cheating. He's inscure because he thinks you'll find out and projecting his fears onto you.
